1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, run by Ayanda Water & Investments (trading as Ayanda Construction), including its calculators and the quote request form. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Building work and material supply are governed by the written quotation and contract we agree with you for your project. If anything in that quotation or contract differs from these terms, the quotation or contract applies.

2. Quote requests

• Asking for a quote is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
• Sending a request is not an order. Nothing is agreed until we send you a written quotation and you accept it in writing.
• Our quotations state their price, currency, what's included, payment terms, timeline and how long the price is valid. Prices may depend on a site visit, approved drawings and current material costs.
• Please give us accurate information. If details turn out to be different on site, the quotation may need to change.

3. Calculators and estimates

The brick, block, solar and job calculators give indicative estimates to help you plan. They use standard sizes, typical allowances (for example 5% for breakage and cutting) and the measurements you provide.

• They are not a quotation, a bill of quantities or professional design advice.
• Final quantities are confirmed against approved drawings and a site visit before we quote.
• Structural, electrical and solar designs need a suitably qualified professional; the calculators don't replace one.

Don't order materials or start work relying only on a calculator figure — ask us to confirm it first.

4. Using the website

You agree not to:

• send false, misleading or someone else's details;
• send spam, or use automated tools to submit forms or copy the site;
• try to access our staff systems, interfere with the site's security, or upload anything harmful;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or ignore requests that break these rules.

5. Our content

The website's text, design, images, logo, calculators and software belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own planning, but not copy, resell or reuse them commercially without our written permission.

6. Other services

Some buttons open WhatsApp or your email app. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them.

7. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that calculator results will match final quantities or prices.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on the website or calculator estimates without a written quotation from us, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or delay. Our responsibilities for building work and materials are set out in your quotation and contract.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Your information

How we use the details you give us is explained in our privacy policy, and what the site stores in your browser is on our cookies & storage page.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. If there's a problem, please contact us first and we'll try to resolve it quickly and fairly. Otherwise, disputes go to the courts of Zimbabwe, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its date, applies from the day it's published.
